“I was born in London and started my musical career late, after meeting Hanly at a music camp in New South Wales. In my life away from Doris, I'm a features writer and editor. I'm on the Nanga Music Festival committee (a great little festival – see nangamusic.org.au) and sometimes hold a creative writing retreat called Juice. In my spare time I like to knit, go cycling and read in the bath. I live in Perth with my daughter and partner.”

"I ditched my classical piano lessons at the age of 15 when I found the guitar much more to my liking. I treasure my two Scott Wise guitars (can you believe I actually WON one of them in the Fairbridge Festival raffle?!) and have recently added a Martin Backpackers guitar to my string collection. Beyond my life as half of Doris, I am a Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor. I live in the Wheatbelt with my horses, chooks, dog and my partner Bill.
